Why is NetMirror Not on the App Store?
Apple maintains extremely strict guidelines about which apps can appear in their App Store. Because NetMirror aggregates streaming content from over 50 different OTT platforms — including Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video, SonyLIV, and Zee5 — it does not meet Apple's content licensing requirements. This is standard for all third-party streaming aggregator apps, not just NetMirror.
However, Apple has built a powerful feature directly into iOS called Progressive Web Apps (PWA). This lets you install web-based applications to your home screen so they look, feel, and function exactly like native apps — without going through the App Store at all. NetMirror's engineering team has fully optimized the PWA experience for iOS, giving you a seamless streaming interface with no Safari address bar visible.
Safari PWA Method — Step by Step
This is the official, permanent method. It uses a native Apple feature, so it is 100% safe and will never be revoked or expire.
Step 1: Open Safari (Not Chrome)
This method only works in Safari. Apple restricts the Add to Home Screen feature to their own browser. Do not use Chrome, Firefox, or Brave — it will not work.
Step 2: Visit This Page
Navigate to netmirror.iosmirrorcc.in/download in Safari on your iPhone or iPad. Tap the green download button to load the NetMirror streaming interface.
Step 3: Tap the Share Icon
Look at the bottom center of your Safari screen. Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
Step 4: Tap "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down through the Share menu options until you find "Add to Home Screen" with a + icon. Tap it. Keep the name as "NetMirror" and tap Add in the top right corner.
Step 5: Done! Launch from Your Home Screen
Close Safari. The NetMirror app icon now appears on your home screen alongside your other apps. Tap it to open — it launches in full-screen mode without any browser bars visible. Enjoy free, unlimited streaming!
What If It Does Not Appear As an App?
If the icon does not show up on your home screen after following the steps above, try these fixes:
- Make sure you used Safari: Chrome and other browsers do not support Add to Home Screen on iOS. Switch to Safari and try again.
- Check your App Library: On iOS 14+, new app icons may go to the App Library instead of the home screen. Swipe left to the App Library and search for "NetMirror".
- Restart Safari: Close all Safari tabs, then reopen Safari and try the process again.
- Update iOS: Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 14.0 or newer. Older versions have limited PWA support.
